Death

The Death card arrives the way autumn does — not violently, but inevitably. There is a quality to this energy that we may have been sensing for days, even weeks: the slow loosening of something that once held firm. Today invites us to stop mistaking persistence for loyalty. Not everything we've carried this far deserves to cross with us into what's next. The skeleton on the horse moves forward regardless. The question is whether we ride or are dragged.

We are called to look honestly at what in our lives has already ended, even if we haven't yet spoken the words. A relationship, a version of ourselves, a belief we inherited rather than chose.
