Wheel of Fortune
There is a great turning happening beneath the surface of ordinary hours — a cosmic hinge-point dressed in the clothes of a regular day. We are standing at the rim of the wheel, and the ground beneath us is already in motion.
Today's Message
The Wheel of Fortune does not ask our permission before it moves. It has been spinning since long before we arrived here, carrying kings into poverty and lifting the forgotten into grace, indifferent to our preferences and loyal only to the law of change itself. Today, we are invited to feel that motion — not as something happening *to* us, but as something we are woven into. The wheel is not our enemy. It is the oldest rhythm we know.
There is something in our lives right now that is mid-turn. A relationship shifting weight, a door swinging slowly on its hinge, a chapter that has gone quiet in the way chapters do before they end. We may not yet see the full arc of what is moving, and that unknowing can feel like falling. But the Wheel reminds us that falling and rising are the same gesture, viewed from different moments in time. What feels like loss today may be clearing the spoke for something we haven't yet imagined.
To flow with the Wheel is not passivity — it is a profound and active trust. It means releasing our grip on the version of the story we insisted upon, and allowing the larger pattern to reveal itself. Today invites us to ask what we have been clinging to out of fear rather than love, what we have been resisting that life has already decided. The Wheel turns. And in that turning, there is mercy.
Be Mindful Of
The shadow of the Wheel lives in our white-knuckled grip — the part of us that calls resistance 'loyalty' and calls stagnation 'stability.' Today, we might gently notice where we are exhausting ourselves trying to hold something fixed that the universe has already decided to move.
