The Tower
There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from holding something together that no longer wants to be held. Today, The Tower asks us to consider what we've been propping up — and why.
Today's Message
The Tower does not arrive without warning. It arrives after we have ignored the warnings. The lightning bolt in the old illustrations is not chaos descending from outside — it is clarity, breaking through what we built in the dark, before we knew better. Today carries that electric quality: a truth that has been circling, finally finding its way through. We are not being punished. We are being shown.
There is something sacred in the collapse of a false structure. A relationship built on performance, a version of ourselves we've been maintaining for others, a belief system that never quite fit but felt safer than uncertainty — The Tower has no patience for these arrangements. The energy around us today is not destructive for destruction's sake. It is purposeful. The rubble is the beginning of honest ground, and honest ground is the only kind anything real can grow in.
We are invited today to sit with what feels unstable — not to brace against it, but to breathe with it. What falls away in Tower moments often turns out to be the scaffolding, not the soul. The fire at the crown of the tower burns away illusion, and what remains, standing in the open air for the first time, is truer than anything we housed inside those walls. The question is not whether we survive the fall. It is what we choose to carry with us when we climb down.
