Judgement
Judgement is the card of the summons — the moment you are called by name and have to answer.

Upright
Upright meaning
You are being called by name, and nobody can answer in your place. Judgement is the reckoning that frees — you review the whole record, forgive what can be forgiven, and step into a life that fits who the last few years made you. Hesitation is the only real failure here.
From the clouds, a great angel blows a trumpet hung with a banner bearing a square red cross. Below, gray figures rise from open coffins floating on water — a man, a woman, a child, arms lifted, faces turned up. They are not being punished. They are being called, and they are standing on their own to answer.
Origins & Symbolism
Judgement takes its scene straight from Christian imagery of the Last Judgment — the angel's trumpet, the dead rising from their graves to be called. The 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith card shows Gabriel sounding a horn hung with a red-cross banner while gray figures rise from coffins on the water, arms lifted. Reworked here as awakening rather than sentencing: a summons to answer both for and to your own life.
Reading It For Yourself
Feel for the summons — this card asks a question only you can answer. Notice what you have been called toward and quietly declining. In a present position it marks a reckoning that frees; as advice, it says stop deliberating and answer. Reversed, either you ignored the call or you are prosecuting yourself too harshly. Tie it to the specific decision you already know is yours to make.
Love
A relationship reaches its honest reckoning. Old grievances get named and either properly forgiven or set down for good. Someone may resurface from your past; the question is not whether you still feel something, but whether anything has actually changed.
Career
A vocation asserts itself, usually inconveniently. This is the resignation letter, the pivot, the return to work you abandoned in order to be practical. Long-delayed decisions and reviews resolve now. Whatever you have been quietly training for is asking to be done in the open.
Health
A result, a scan, or a plain moment in the mirror reorganizes your priorities. Act on what you now know instead of filing it away.
Guidance
Answer it. You already know what is being asked, and the discomfort you feel reading this is recognition, not uncertainty.
